make you feel completely at home at our institute. Your non-binding
initial consultation with the Kinderwunsch Institut will form the
basis for how we move forward together in future. It serves to help us
get to know each other and enables us to learn about the medical,
psychological and social background of both partners.
The purpose of the initial consultation is to enable us to get to know each other better. We place considerable emphasis on answering all your questions and maintaining a sympathetic ear for your needs and
worries - we want to make sure you feel completely comfortable with us. After all, the more relaxed you are, the greater is the chance of success.
We'll conduct a structured interview with you to find out why things haven't worked out so far. If necessary, we will also undertake various diagnostic procedures. On the basis of your medical history, we will determine what needs to be done to maximise your chances of becoming pregnant.
Once the results are available, the next thing we'll do is provide advice on the various treatment options that may be suitable for you. We'll tell you what the advantages and disadvantages of each option are. When you have decided which option you prefer, we'll put together a treatment plan in consultation with you.
Next comes a pregnancy test to make sure the measures have proved successful. We'll be there to support you during the first phase of pregnancy.
From week 7 of pregnancy, when your child's heart starts to beat, we'll place you in the hands of a gynaecologist we know to be dependable.
Please ensure you let us know in good time if you are unable to be
present at the appointment for your initial consultation. There are
many other couples waiting for the opportunity of an initial
consultation as soon as possible. A physician from our team will have
had to specifically make sure that they are available for the
appointment. If you fail to inform us that you will not be present in
good time, we reserve the right to charge you accordingly.
