We are continually undertaking medical studies in close collaboration with the FRED research institute that are designed to enhance our medical options and to find solutions to medical issues.
We have been collecting samples of body fluids during our fertility treatments since 2013. These samples are stored in the biobank of the Medical University of Graz. Retrospective analysis of these samples provides for better understanding of the pathological and physiological processes associated with reproductive medicine. In addition, new insights can be obtained that could help optimise diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.
This is a prospective observational study in which we are collaborating with Gedeon Richter Pharma GmbH to investigate the safety and efficacy of an approved FSH medicament (follitropin alfa - Bemfola®). In the study, the transfer of artificially fertilised eggs (with and without previous freezing) of patients who have undergone
controlled stimulation of the ovaries using Bemfola® is being assessed.
Iron levels in the body can determine fertility and conception. The aim of this study is to compare the outcome of the administration of orally administered and intravenously delivered iron in the presence of iron deficiency. The main iron parameters are analysed in detail before and after iron treatment and the effects on fertility and conception are observed.
We need you! We are always on the search for individuals who would like to participate in our studies.

If you are interested in participating in a study, talk to our receptionists or use the contact form and we will then give you detailed related information.

You will be participating voluntarily. Every potential study subject will be informed in detail of what will happen during the study and will be asked to provide their written consent to participate.

Of course, you retain the right to withdraw from the study at any time and you are not required to give reasons for doing so. No study participants will be given more favourable treatment than others. You will continue to receive the fertility treatment you need irrespective of whether you agree to participate in a study or not.
If you have questions about our studies or would like to take part in
one, please contact us on +43 313655111 or send an email to

The new insights obtained enable us to continually improve our medical techniques and better understand the various reasons for involuntary childlessness. The close collaboration with universities and other medical institutes means that we can offer you the best level of care in compliance with the current status of medicine.
